She previously served as Director of Operations and Educational Programs for the San Francisco Symphony and recently sat on the boards of the Crowden Music Center, the CG Jung Institute of San Francisco, and the Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism (ARAS) in New York City. She is a founding board member of Fotokids, having been a friend of Nancy McGirr and supporter of the program from its outset.
