Fotokids educational and vocational media arts programs have changed the lives of thousands of young people inspiring them with self-confidence, encouraging creative and critical thinking and demonstrating the importance of giving back.
We provide a roadmap out of the swamp that is poverty.

The majority of non-profits design their programs for three years or less in order to get funding, and often scale up to serve thousands of people with the hope they will get lasting results. That model really just isn’t enough time. Fotokids, instead of looking at serving large numbers, signs on for 8 to 10 years for each student. We are in it for the long haul.

We get to know the families, the struggles, limitations, and can help guide a child giving them the support and knowledge that someone really is interested, cares, and has their back. And we do, we will be there; scholarships to keep them in school, doing tutoring, providing a place to study and use of computers for homework, paying a medical bill, helping the neediest of families with food baskets, and being someone to talk to when they have a problem.

Fotokids opens up opportunities and experiences that give children a chance to capture their dreams.

In 2025 we will be taking on another 90 children, bringing our total student enrollment to 180.
