Chonita began studying in Fotokids at age 12 in Santiago Atitlán. Now 22, she teaches visual arts and graphic design. She received additional training through INFOCUS, Design for Kids, and workshops with international professional photographers. Concepción documented the beatification of Priest Stanley Rother in 2017, and her photos were published in National Catholic Reporter and the Progressive. Her work was showcased at the BDC Latin American Photography Festival and in Europe. She earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Carlos. Her passion for photography and education helps her inspire youth in visual storytelling and creative expression.
