Began with Fotokids in 1997 at age 12; now an experienced photography educator in Santiago Atitlán. Studied Journalism at the University of San Carlos and web design at Rafael Landívar University. Participated in workshops on photo and video arts, representing Fotokids at events like the Youth Conference Against Violence (2005) and a cultural exchange in California (2007). His work includes documentary projects focused on Guatemala’s traditions. Gerardo’s mission is to preserve cultural heritage through visual storytelling, supporting community empowerment through education.
