OUR MISSION
Fotokids mission is to act as a catalyst to stimulate leadership roles for young people in areas affected by poverty and gang violence in Central America. Transforming and empowering students through vocational media and IT arts training, along with traditional educational scholarships, provide the skills that open the door to new opportunities giving students a definite advantage when job seeking.
OUR STORY
Fotokids, originally called Out of the Dump, from its humble beginnings has served over a thousand at-risk children affected by poverty and violence by giving them a chance to dream of a better life, using photography, graphic design, media technology and vocational training experience as a tools for self-expression, creativity, leadership, and future employment. The ability to secure employment assures they will not have to migrate in order to survive.
